Brilliant Tone

a veryyy serious pigment serum with a very beautiful side effect: glow. kojic acid, arbutin, vitamin C, licorice + bearberry help interrupt excess melanin production + improve existing discoloration, while lactic acid gently exfoliates to support clearer, more even-looking skin. niacinamide rounds things out with barrier, redness + tone support. 

the texture has a slight tack to it that layers beautifully over other serums, almost like pressing everything into place before moisturizer. the finish is luminous, even + unusually pretty.

for stubborn pigment, uneven tone + a very particular kind of glow.

pigment is stubborn + there aren’t many products that noticeably budge mine. this is one of them.

i love the kojic acid, of course, but there’s something about the finish of Brilliant Tone that i’m particularly attached to. it has this slight tack that feels almost like pressing everything i applied before it into place, then leaves my skin looking incredibly even, clear + luminous. a very specific kind of pretty.

this one does need a little guidance. there’s lactic acid alongside a serious group of pigment-correcting ingredients, so more is not more. the schedule matters + so does everything you’re using around it.
